Today I will start my blog that will coincide with my Etsy shop Sweet B. Revival. This will be my little online vintage boutique, with things of the past finding new homes, while my hand made items are inspired by the items that rescue. I found after years of graphic arts, crafting, thrifting, estate sale shopping, and craigslist hunting, I needed to branch out and really follow my passions. I have read Tara Gentile and her Scoutie Girl Blog for a couple of years. She has some really inspiring business building information and inspiration that I have tried to take to heart and work at building my own business with my creative passion the driving force.
Now I know this isn't going to be exactly easy. A husband and four children, whom I love to take care of, seem to be very supportive in going this direction. All of my brainstorming until 3am, and jibber-jabber with friends and family have all come down to this. Try as I might to make other things work, I have decided to just simply be who I am, and do what I love to do! Whether it becomes just an extremely enjoyable hobby, or something substantially more, I am looking ahead with glee.
I'd love for you to follow along with me, and leave a sweet comment or two! Social media is such a great tool. After years of being hesitant, it's time to dive right in! I'd love to read and follow your journey as well.
